BILS organised an internal evaluation and experience analyzing workshop regarding capacity building training programme on workers’ health and safety at RMG sector on May 31, 2017 at Ahsania mission Conference Center, Dhaka.
Preparing report based on training preparation and management experience of self organizations, analysing experience of preparing report on using training manual, activities and accounts and fixing a plan for the development of future activities were the main objectives of the workshop.
BILS Executive Director Syed Sultan Uddin Ahmmed explained the mechanism of the workshop, while Project Coordinator Kohinoor Mahmud coordinated and Khandakar A. Salam facilitated the workshop.
Leaders of different Trade Union Federations participated in the workshop.
At the closing session of the workshop, Workers Education Expert of Social Dialogue and Industrial Relations Project at ILO Bangladesh Muhamad Tauvik, and Programme Officer of Improving Working Conditions in the Readymade Garment Sector A K M Masum Ul Alam were present among others.
