“Safe migration where, there is sustainable develop” following this slogan BILS participated in rally and discussion meeting in observing International Migrant Fair 2017, organised by Ministry of Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment on December 18, 2017 at Bangabandhu International Conference Center. BILS also set up a stall where a number of publications regarding BILS activities, research were displayed.
Expatriates’ Welfare Minister Nurul Islam BSC presided over the discussion meeting while Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal was present as chief guest and State Minister for Foreign Affairs Md. Shahriar Alam, MP; Parliamentary Standing Committee of Expatriate Welfare Ministry President Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun, Pailiamentary Standing Committee Member Israfil Alam, MP were present as special guest. Besides, Additional Secretary of Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment Ministry Md. Hazrat Ali, Manpower, Employment and Training Bureau Director General Begum Shamsun Nahar, High Officials of Ministry and concerned NGO representatives participated in the day long programme.
