BILS, under DGB-BW project organised a Centre Coordination Committee Meeting on October 6, 2020 at BILS-LRSC, Chattogram. Apart from the senior leadership associated with the coordinating activities, all staffs of BILS-LRSC took part in the meeting. The meeting was presided over by BILS-LRSC Coordination Committee Chairman A M Nazimuddin. The meeting was addressed among others by BILS-LRSC Coordination Committee Member Tapan Datta, BILS-LRSC officials namely Pahari Bhattacharjee, Rizwanur Rahman Khan, Fazlul Kabir Mintu, Yachin Arafat, Acharjee Mukta and Md. Ali. The meeting mainly reviewed the ongoing project activities and planned some events. Â The meeting expressed deep concern over the unemployment of informal sector workers, ongoing illegal lay-off and forced termination of workers in RMG and other sectors, social insecurity of day laborers, construction workers, hotel and health workers beside less payment by the employers amid COVID-19 pandemic. ]]>
