BILS organised a two-day long workshop for area based safety/campaign team members at construction sector on October 2-3, 2017 at BILS Seminar Hall.
The workshop was organised aiming to develop the capacity of participants which would help them to describe rights and rewards of construction workers, to identify risks and hazards, to describe necessity and activities the area based structure formation, to explain the importance and strategy of advocacy, to prepare campaign elements on different topics and to conduct the campaign.
The main objective of the workshop was to discuss about the rewards and rights of construction workers in Labour Law, risks and hazards at workplace and ways to get rid of the accidents, discussion on area based structure, its necessity  and working strategy, campaign, setting issues and prepare plan.
Dedicated young leadership working in central or regional committee of Construction Workers Federations at Uttora, Kafrul, Mohammadpur, Jatrabari, Shampur areas participated in the workshop.
